RELPAX® (eletriptan hydrobromide) works by binding to receptors in the brain, constricting blood vessels and inhibiting pro-inflammatory signals.1 Pain relief can be achieved as early as 30 minutes after administration and lasts for up to 24 hours.1-4 If pain has not resolved by 2 hours after taking RELPAX®, a second dose may be administrated at least 2 hours after the first dose.1 The maximum daily dose should not exceed 80 mg.1
